Black plate version considered the best by many! Awesome in your Fender Tweed Bassman, Deluxe, tube microphones, etc.  Also a good replacement for 12AX7s where lower gain is desired. Nice smooth top end.

I just wanted to let you know that the JAN GE 6072A is outstanding in the Deluxe (Victoria 20122T)!  The tone is absolutely sweet.
