The very cool GE 12ax7 went in the V1 spot on the JCM 800, and it's making me forget it has a boost channel. And to top it off, it's much quieter. It's amazing what one tube can do. My only problem is ... I want to retube everything I have with the good stuff. Thanks again. I'll be back for more. Cheers; Blase
